1. Why returns work differently here
Every comic is custom-made from your photo and your answers, so a returned book can't be resold. Instead you get two check-ins before anything prints, and a refund path at every stage.
2. Until you approve the cast and story
You get 100% of what you paid back, shipping included. You can cancel yourself with the cancel button on the first review page, and the refund is automatic. It goes back to your original payment method.
3. After the pages are drawn, before Start the Printer
If the story isn't what you ordered, use Report the story on the page check-in. The standing offer is 90% of the comic price back, and the book is still printed and sent to you. A person on our team reads every report and decides what fits. Shipping is only refunded in a full refund.
4. After Start the Printer
Once you start the printer the book is locked. The only thing that can still change is the delivery address, and only until the book ships. A person on our team handles address changes.
5. Within 30 days of delivery
If your book arrives damaged or with a print defect, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We reprint it for free or refund you, depending on the problem, and a person on our team decides which. A photo of the problem helps.
6. Change of mind after delivery
We can't refund a change of mind once the book has been delivered. This is why we built in two check-ins: you see the cast, the story and every page before anything is printed.
7. How to ask
Use Ask the Horse on any page, or email support@crazyhorsecomics.com with your order number. A person reads every message.
